Our Founder’s Story
Nearly 20 Years Ago
SpringFour Founder & CEO Rochelle Gorey’s more than 25 years of experience in public policy, government relations, homeownership, and asset building led her to build SpringFour in 2005 — the first-of-its-kind financial health fintech. Rochelle understood the power of connecting people to resources long before anyone was talking about financial health or fintech — and built a sustainable business model in SpringFour, the first organization to empower consumer financial health while also driving measurable impact for the organizations that provide SpringFour resources for their customers.
Growing up, Rochelle’s family struggled financially and she felt the stigmas surrounding financial hardship. Rochelle knew that people facing financial challenges are in situations that make it impossible for them to pay, and they deserve to be connected to resources that can help them find their footing. Rochelle’s foresight and drive helped her build an unprecedented, innovative business model that connects people with the financial assistance they want and deserve.
